Questions

The things people ask before they join

Straight answers about hours, prices, offices and payment at Desk&Wifi Coworking in Bahria Town, Lahore. If something is not here, ask us on WhatsApp and we will add it.

Where is Desk&Wifi?

Second Floor, 31-C, facing Al-Fatah, Side B, Sector C Commercial Area, Bahria Town, Lahore 53720. It is one flight of stairs up, and Al-Fatah is the landmark most people navigate by.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is parking right outside the building. It is open parking rather than an attended car park, so lock your car or bike: vehicles parked outside remain the owner's responsibility.

What are the opening hours?

The front desk is open 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday, and that is when someone is there to show you round or sign you up. Access hours differ by space: Hall 1 keeps front-desk hours, Hall 2 runs continuously from Monday morning to Saturday evening, and the conference room is available at any hour. Sunday is closed for the shared halls.

Is Desk&Wifi really open 24 hours?

Partly, and it is worth being precise. The conference room is available 24 hours a day, every day, and some private offices have round-the-clock access. The shared halls do not: Hall 2 closes on Saturday at 17:00 and the halls are shut on Sunday. Plans described as 24-hour access mean 24 hours Monday to Saturday, not seven days a week.

How much does it cost?

A day pass is PKR 1,999. A shared desk starts at PKR 9,999 a month, and a private office starts at PKR 79,999 a month. Six-month terms save 10% and annual terms save 15%. Every plan includes the meeting room, the library, power backup and air conditioning rather than charging for them separately.

Can I try it for a single day?

Yes. A day pass is PKR 1,999 and gets you the shared workspace, the wifi, the tea and coffee and the meeting room, with no commitment beyond the day.

Is there a minimum term or a long contract?

No minimum term. You choose the length you pay for — a day, a week, a month, six months or a year. Every member signs our terms and conditions and house rules when they join. Payments are non-refundable, and a membership can be cancelled with immediate effect if the terms or rules are broken.

How do I pay?

Bank transfer, JazzCash, Easypaisa or cash. There is no card payment on the website yet, so nothing is charged automatically — you pay, we mark the invoice paid, and you get a receipt.

Do you have private offices, and how many people fit?

Nine private offices across two floors — five on the first floor, four on the second — holding three or four desks each. They lock, they are air conditioned, and everything included in the shared plans still applies.

Look at the offices →
Is the meeting room an extra charge?

No. The conference room is included with every plan, from a day pass upward, and it is bookable by the hour at any time of day.

What happens when the power goes out?

Power backup keeps the desks, the lights and the wifi running through an outage. For most members this is the practical reason to work here rather than at home or in a cafe.

How fast is the internet?

The line is 200 Mbps down and 200 Mbps up with ping under 5 ms, and each device is capped at 100 Mbps so one big download cannot slow the room for everyone else. Large torrent downloads are kept to designated low-traffic hours; the front desk will tell you when.

Is printing included?

The Regular plan includes 20 free black-and-white pages a month, while Basic and Starter include none. Beyond that, black-and-white pages are PKR 5 each and colour pages PKR 10 each.

Do I get the same desk every day?

On a dedicated desk plan, yes — seats are fixed positions and we write the member name on them, so you can leave a monitor set up and come back to it. On the lighter plans you take any free seat in the hall.

Can I borrow books from the library?

Yes. There are 71 books on the shelf — history, economics, technology, philosophy and fiction — and members borrow them against their account. The whole catalogue is online, so you can see what is there before you visit.

What are the house rules?

They are about keeping a shared room workable. Use headphones for music and keep voices down. Take calls and team discussions to the conference room — a quiet Zoom call at your desk is fine. Please do not rearrange the furniture, smoke only in the designated area by the stairs, and keep food in the fridge in a personal box, since it is cleared after 10 hours. If another member is bothering you, tell the front desk rather than taking it up directly.

Can I look around before joining?

Yes, and it is the sensible thing to do. Come by during front-desk hours, 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Saturday, or message us on WhatsApp first and we will keep a seat free. There is no obligation and no tour script.

Still not answered?

Message us and you will get a person, not a form. Front desk is 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday.
